Bedroom Canvas Prints

Bedroom wall art that helps the room wind down

A bedroom is the one room where the art does not need to compete for attention. Soft landscapes, muted abstracts and quiet botanical motifs all work well here, because they read as calm from across the room and still reward a closer look when you are actually in bed. Our bedroom collection leans that way on purpose, though there is room for a bolder piece if the rest of the room is restrained.

What to hang above the bed

The wall above the bed is the natural focal point, and the usual mistake is going too small. As a rule of thumb, the artwork should cover roughly two thirds of the width of the bed. For a 140 cm double that means a single canvas around 100x70 cm, or two to three smaller pieces hung as a set. Leave 15 to 20 cm between the headboard and the bottom edge so the arrangement reads as one unit.

Colors that suit a bedroom

Sage green, dusty blue, beige and warm gray are the tones people reach for most in bedrooms, and they are easy to live with over time. If your walls are white, a print with one strong color anchors the room. If the walls are already colored, a black and white photograph or a line drawing usually sits better than another color competing with the paint.

Sizes that fit bedroom walls

30x40 cm and 40x50 cm work well on a narrow wall or beside a wardrobe. 50x70 cm and 70x100 cm are the sizes to look at above the bed. If the wall is wide and you want it filled, a set of three in the same size, hung with even spacing, tends to look more deliberate than one print that is slightly too small.

Printed in Sweden and ready to hang

Every canvas print is made to order in Sweden on high-quality canvas and comes stretched on a wooden frame, so it can go straight on the wall when it arrives. Fast delivery, and most motifs are available in several sizes if you change your mind about scale.
